- Floyd, it is YOU who is doing the whining. Anyone who buys a product
- from an established "reputable" company should receive, for their
- money, a working, reasonably reliable product. This is clearly not
- the case for USR. I've had two of them; a 28800 and a Vi. Both were
- junk, I never received responses from e-mail to tech support, and
- their phone lines apparantly are switched into Alexander Bell's grave,
- as they are never answered.

- How did I solve my problem??? I returned the product, with a not
- inside the box to USR, and bought a Mot Power. THEY anwer all of the
- e-mail I've sent to them within 24 hours (except weekends), I've
- called and they actually do have phones on their desks, and the modem
- performs flawlessly. That's a quality product with quality backup.
